Join the Fauna del Noroeste Team and Andrew Forde from FORDE BIO on this new adventure, where we will conduct surveys of this wonderful species.

Once again, the Fauna del Noroeste team is pleased to present a unique training experience, where we will survey the Burrowing Owl population in Ensenada, Baja California. From December 1st to 5th, 2024 you will have the opportunity to gain experience and practical training in the specie's wintering behaviors, habitat characteristics, main threats, and recommendations for preparing quality reports.



During this workshop you will receive recommendations focused on improving your ability to identify burrows that are being used and be able to define all the strategies for better mitigation recommendations of an impact, as well as some surprises that will increase your skills beyond a survey, this experience will be based out in a survey protocol from California.
