Join the Fauna del Noroeste team and Andrew Forde of FORDE BIO, where we will be conducting surveys of this wonderful species.

Once again, the Fauna del Noroeste team is pleased to present a training experience, where we will be surveying the Barn Owl population in Ensenada, Baja California. 

 

From December 1-5, 2024 you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and training in the species' wintering behaviors, habitat characteristics, main threats and recommendations for quality reporting.

During this workshop you will receive recommendations focused on improving your ability to identify burrows that are being used and be able to define strategies for better impact mitigation recommendations that will enhance your skills beyond a survey, this experience will be based on a California survey protocol.
